30/04/2004: "Next "Notes from New York" now on sale."
Following a sell-out at the Donmar Warehouse in March, the one-off evening returns to the Arts Theatre, where it started life last year, on American Independence Day, 4 July 2004.

With a number of UK and European premieres, the concert will once again showcase the work of Grammy-nominated composer Andrew Lippa (John & Jen, The Wild Party), including songs from his new musical A Little Princess, based on Frances Hodgson Burnett’s classic children’s novel, ahead of its world premiere in the US later this summer.
Also featured in the new Notes from New York will be material from the recent Off-Broadway hit The Thing about Men by Jimmy Roberts (I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change) and from the acclaimed but rarely performed repertoire of Craig Carnelia (Is There Life After High School?).
Notes regular and Actually actors client Paul Spicer (The Witches of Eastwick, Fame, Taboo) and Julie Atherton (Mamma Mia!) return in July to perform alongside Kellie Ryan (Calamity Jane) and, making the crossover from straight plays, Samuel Barnett (His Dark Materials, The History Boys at the National).
Notes from New York is directed by David Randall, with musical staging by Paul Spicer, sound by Marcus Wadland and wardrobe provided by DKNY. The series is produced by Neil Eckersley.
