In the current UK tour of Jesus Christ Superstar.
 The show is visiting major venues around the UK until August and is produced by Bill Kenwright. Following his return from playing Judas in a Scandanavian tour in December, Jon took over the role in the UK tour at short notice following the indisposition of James Fox to rave reviews. At his first venue The Southampton Echo said "It takes a brave man to try to outshine the Son of God, but that is just what Jon Boydon did in last night's performance of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Mayflower. Boydon who only came into the musical at the last minute, stole the show with a performance that brilliantly captured the pain and agony of Judas Iscariot". Prior to JCS Jon was playing Frank N Furter in the European Tour of The Rocky Horror Show - and his theatre credits also include Kenickie in Grease (Cyprus), The Rocky Horror Show 30th Anniversary UK Tour (Brad and Frank) and All You Need is Love (West End).
