04/10/2005: "Dougal Irvine's "Departure Lounge" takes off"

Dougal's first self-penned musical is to be showcased at the Landor Theatre.
The one act musical will be performed as part of the "More Dirty Little Secrets" festival of new writing at the Landor Theatre this October.

Performance Slots are 8pm Thursday 20th October and 9pm Friday 21st October.

Dougal has just graduated from the 26+ Young Writers Program at the Royal Court Theatre, Sloane Square. His first play "PSYCHO-THERAPY" was written in association with the Royal Court.

He has also just finished shooting "Beautiful Eyes" for Purrfect Pictures, a short film which he wrote and directed. It's the story of a young man with a gift and how he choses to use it in the last 24 hours of his life. The film stars Jake Canuso (School for Seduction) and Emily Dykes and is being screened at BAFTA in November.
