Dougal is returning to the Leicester Haymarket Theatre to appear in their Christmas Edition of 70's themed musical show.
 The show runs in Leicester from Friday 2 December - Sunday 15 January. In addition to his work as a musical theatre actor having performed in both the West End and No1 UK Tours, Dougal has most recently been concentrating on his writing and directing. He has just finished shooting "Beautiful Eyes" for Purrfect Pictures, a short film which he wrote and directed. The film stars Jake Canuso (School for Seduction) and Emily Dykes and is being screened at BAFTA in November. His first musical "Departure Lounge" has been workshopped at Mountview Academy of Performing Arts and premiered at the Landor Theatre in October. Dougal has just graduated from the 26+ Young Writers Program at the Royal Court Theatre, Sloane Square. His first play "PSYCHO-THERAPY" was written in association with the Royal Court. He is also the host and joint founder of Songlite the acoustic night in Woolwich which offers a showcase to new songwriters.
