by Michael John LaChiusa, at the Finborough Theatre Sundays, 2, 9 and 16 April 2006  Russell will next be appearing in the London premiere of LUCKY NURSE AND OTHER SHORT MUSICAL PLAYS.Directed by David Dorrian Other cast includes: Valerie Cutko, Cassidy Janson, Kira Lauren, Simon Masterton, Verity Quade and Ed Tolputt. Russell was most recently seen as Britt Craig in the critically acclaimed Parade at the Edinburgh Festival. Russell Whitehead is a versatile singer and actor. Since graduating from the Royal Academy of Music he has played leading roles in The Wild Party, 16 Gobs, Jesus Christ Superstar and Listen to my Heart. Most recently Russell reached the final of the prestigious BBC Radio 2 Voice of Musical Theatre Contest 2005 in Cardiff.
