Over the summer Jean can be seen in two roles at the Little Theatre.
 Jean is currently at the Little Theatre at Sheringham where she will be playing Sheila in Alan Ayckbourn's RELATIVELY SPEAKING (25th July - 2nd August & 17th - 22nd August) and Evelyn in William Douglas Hume's play THE KINGFISHER (12th - 16th September). Jean was born in London and raised in Worthing. A grant won from West Sussex County Council funded a drama course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, with singing as a secondary subject, which has led to extensive experience in all branches of the entertainment industry. She has appeared on screen in many roles but will be most remembered for her ten and a half years appearing as Dolly Skilbeck in Emmerdale. Jean is a founder member of the Royal National Theatre and has many theatre credits to her name. Her radio and presenting credits include over 1000 broadcasts for BBC Home and World services Jean is an elected Council member of the actors' and performers' union EQUITY and is currently standing for re-election for her 8th consecutive term.
