We are pleased to welcome Katie, who is about to appear in Wicked, to Actually Actors
 Katie is currently in rehearsals for her role of Nessarose in the UK Premiere of the hit Broadway Musical Wicked which begins previews on 7th September. Katie was born in Cambridge and grew up in North Hertfordshire. She is one of four sisters. She showed a keen interest in performing from a young age, but did not train professionally until she was 22. Having gained a BA Hons degree in law from the University of Nottingham, she went on to train in Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting, graduating in 2001. On completion of her course, Katie made her professional stage debut playing the role of Swallow in the original touring cast of Whistle Down the Wind. She then went on to play the infamous role of Janet in the 30th Anniversary production of The Rocky Horror Show, both at the Queen’s Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue and touring the UK, Sandy Dumbrowski in EC1’s production of Grease at the Larnaca Open Air Amphitheatre, Cyprus and as the Princess in Aladdin both at Milton Keynes and Wimbledon Theatres. Prior to Wicked, Katie could most recently be seen playing the role of Belle in the UK Tour of Disney's Beauty and the Beast to much critical acclaim.
