18/09/2006: "Alexander Evans to play Beowulf"
In a workshop production of the new musical The Legend of Beowulf.

Alexander will be appearing in the title role of Beowulf in Travesty Players workshop production of The Legend of Beowulf written by Nicola Jane Butigieg.
The show will be performed at the Cockpit Theatre, Marylebone London on 26th 27th and 28th October.
Alexander trained at Southampton University gaining a BA (Hons) Degree in Music and at the National Youth Music Theatre.
Since leaving college his musical theatre credits include Aspects of Love and Hair. Alexander has also played Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni for young London Opera and has appeared in The Marriage of Figaro, Eugene Onegin and Die Zauberflote. In addition he has appeared in a number of concert performances. Alexander toured as Principal Vocalist on the prestigious Queen Mary 2. Alexander recent credits include the UK tour of Spirit of the Dance where he featured as one of the Three Tenors and playing the part of Eddie Yeager at the Landor Theatre in Clapham in Stephen Sondheim's "Do I Hear A Waltz?" He also played the part of Charles in the 1950's Musical "Fanny" at Sadlers Wells, Lilian Baylis Theatre as part of the "Lost Musicals" season.
