24/04/2007: "Jean Rogers returns to Sheringham"

To play two roles in this summers productions at the Little Theatre

Jean will be appearing this summer at the Little Theatre at Sheringham as: Fiona in Ayckbourn's How The Other Half Loves (26th - 31st July and 5th to 11th September inclusive) and as
Lorraine Barrie in Noel Coward's Star Quality (30th August - 4th Sept and 12th - 15th Sept inclusive)

Jean was born in London and raised in Worthing. A grant won from West Sussex County Council funded a drama course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, with singing as a secondary subject, which has led to extensive experience in all branches of the entertainment industry.

She has appeared on screen in many roles but will be most remembered for her ten and a half years appearing as Dolly Skilbeck in Emmerdale. Jean is a founder member of the Royal National Theatre and has many theatre credits to her name. Her radio and presenting credits include over 1000 broadcasts for BBC Home and World services

Jean is an elected Council member of the actors' and performers' union EQUITY. In summer 2004 she was made one of the two Vice Presidents of the Union.
