At the Novello Theatre later this year.
 Kaisa will be playing Crystal in DESPERATELY SEEKING SUSAN, based on the smash hit MGM 80s romantic comedy and featuring the songs of Blondie. The show will open at the Novello Theatre on 12 October, with a press night on Thursday 15 November. Kaisa is currently appearing in the world premiere of the brand new musical Take Flight by award winning composers Maltby and Shire, with book by John Weidman which opens at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 13th July for a strictly limited season until September 22nd. Kaisa has just completed a critically acclaimed run in a play called "African Gothic" by Reza de Wet at The White Bear in Kennington playing one of the lead characters, "Sussie". The Stage commented that "Kaisa Hammarlund delivers an astonishing, powerhouse performance" Most recently Kaisa has appeared in two award winning West End productions. As a Kit Kat Girl and first cover Sally Bowles in Rufus Norris's production of Cabaret and as Celeste - First Cover Dot in the Menier Chocolate Factory production of Sunday in the Park with George which swept the board at the Oliviers winning 5 awards including Outstanding Musical Production with Cabaret picking up two including Best Theatre Choreographer.
